The Parish grouping of Camlough, Mullaglass, Ballymoyer and Belleek Union are thinking of organising a Parish Pilgrimage to Rome.
Saint Paul Lived in Rome for two years, and Rev. Synnott along with Rev. Broddle have thought it be a good idea for us as a parish to go on a pilgrimage and follow the route of Saint Paul through Rome.
Rome is a very historical city, and there are significant parts of it where we can get a real glimpse into the life of Saint Paul. Where we can connect what we read, to the real world and try and get a new sense of his life.
Rev. Broddle gives more details in the video below.
Obviously in the current situation there are no definite dates or plans, but if you think this is something you might be interested in, let your Parish Secretary know, and they can add your name to the list.
At this early stage, its more about working out realistic numbers and interest, before going further with organising the trip.
So if you are interested, let us know, no obligation.
N.B. For those who are like Gordon and I, and appreciate their classic minis, Rome is a good spot to find a few, as I discovered a few years ago. (You can have any colour, as long as its British Racing Green…)
